Second Trip Florida Keys Sept 13, 08

We made a second trip to the Florida Keys, worked all day on upgrading the missionaries apartment, didn't even have time to get into the historic part of Key West but stopped on the way home at this place for a nice dinner. It was in a place called Marathon and was called the Key Fisheries. It was located right on the ocean, Atlantic side.

The dark behind us is the water. We are eating with the Kynastons. Fish speciality restaurant, so Elder Dalling ordered chicken. This picture was taken about 7:00 pm, gets dark sooner here.

If you look close you can see a couple of big fish swimming around a light in the water. The light was placed in the water right below where we are sitting.

This is what Elder Kynaston and Sister Dalling ordered "Hog Fish", really good!

Been hot all day working, Elder Dalling and Elder Kynaston forgot to put their ties back on.

A couple of Missionary eating sharks.

Nice catch by someone!

Elder and Sister Dalling after dinner. We still have a 5 hour drive back to our apartment in Ft. Lauderdale. We arrived home at about midnight. It was a fun, but hard working day!

Birthday Lunch with the Hales

President Hale treated us to lunch for Sister Rowe's birthday (78 years old) Wind is blowing the hair, I do comb my hair sometimes. Big hurricane (Gustof0) passed by us to the west. Weather was not extreme here, but a frond from a palm tree blew into one of our cars as the elders drove to church. The palm leaf broke out their front windshield. Palm fronds falling are big and can do damage to cars and people. We are now watching huricane Hanna which could come our way in a couple of days.
